CXXII.1 – GICW mile 61.5

Tuesday December 16th, 2014

We traveled about 25 nm today before putting an end to this short day and again enjoying a great weather day. It is in the low 70’s and sunny. No wind. We stayed inside again as the wind was 3 to 5 kts from the south and we are going south.

A plethora of beautiful homes along this inside channel and on the outside beach fronts. We are anchored in front of homes all around. We just got out of the channel and anchored in 6 feet of water a respectful distance from the homes.

Mary Lynn is baking cookies today. Yesterday it was the gum drop cake that the Captain is so fond of. We will move to Charlotte Bay tomorrow and have a short jaunt into Burnt Store for our Christmas and New Year.

more later
