I have vowed to keep the blog going. But this morning, I have stuff to do before we go to the boat. One paragraph may be all you get.
Yesterday, I managed to install the cutlass bearing. Straight from the freezer and 12 or 30 strokes with the 3 pound persuader, and it was where it belonged. Then the new PSS shaft seal went in without a hitch, and I managed to get the shaft coupling coupled. Then the port side of the hull was addressed. There are many deep scratches, abrasions, and contusions. I started the process of patching them up. Days of block sanding will follow if ML is up to it…
