XCVI Turner Marina Deep freeze day two

Wednesday November 19th, 2014

polar-vortex-2 Ok, enough is enough. I think it is time to write a sternly worded letter to the weather folks.

“For the second day in a row there has been frost on the decks of our sailboat. We are located in Mobile Alabama and frost is not acceptable. This cold has me wearing mitts, the wearing of same makes it difficult to open cans of beer. I made a vow to not wear long pants south of Chicago. The frost bite is improving… Your prompt attention to this matter is anticipated.

Who do I send it to? Since this demon weather is a result of the “Polar Vortex” and Canada claims to own all things polar…Stephen Harper!!

“Since this cold weather results from Canada’s Polar Vortex, you are responsible for the frost on my decks in Mobile Alabama. It is time that Canada through your offices finds a way to corral this bad boy and keep it North of the border.”

I feel better now. A letter to a politician will work almost immediately. I will get ready to go outside (as soon as the hatch thaws and I can get it open) in my shorts and t shirt. Thanks Stephen for the prompt attention.
