This morning I’m up early. A cold front went through around 05:30 with Florida rain and wind. I can only get digital tv in the yard and I started to watch ‘Alf’. Alf is a completely plausible show about a cat-eating alien and his human family.
Then it was Superman. The George Reeves version from the 50’s. People shoot bullets at him and they bounce off. Then when the guns are empty they throw them at Superman and he has to duck? It is ironic that the actor George Reeves died of a gunshot…
My problem is when he flies. First of all the sound is annoying. No matter how fast he goes the sound is the same. The sound should be different if he flies faster than a speeding bullet, but I think that’s a bunch of hype.
It seems necessary for him to run and jump in order to reach a suitable speed for flying. These jumps are less than likely to achieve flight. I’m going to watch a few more shows to verify my findings… Don’t get me started on Lois Lane.
