St. Augustine Day four…

November’s sixth, twenty seventeen; part two

Today we traveled from Columbia South Carolina to St. Augustine, Florida. Not sure how far it was but it was far enough. St. Augustine is the oldest continuously European occupied community in the continental United States. Lots of old buildings and narrow streets. We got here around 2 so we had the afternoon, evening and tomorrow morning to explore. We wandered around and I took a few pics.

When we checked in, the woman here at the hotel was positively effervescing with information. She told me she stopped by for a visit just like me and stayed for 30 years… I told her I didn’t have that much time. She looked at me funny.
