Post Olympics

Monday August 22nd, 2016

Say what you will about the recently completed Rio Olympics. I thought Canada did fairly well. They hoped for a twelfth place finish and finished 10th. Some of that may have been related to the dopes from Russia but we’ll take it.

What was a little different this time was Canada received medals in traditional swimming and track sports. Typically we would idolize some Canadian who won a gold medal in horse back lawn darts or something along that line. Way to go Canada.

I watched the closing ceremony with the salad characters prancing about. The fire works were impressive and they didn’t burn the building down.

I was concerned and perplexed about synchronized diving. This was the first time I notice or saw it on TV. It wasn’t just the synchronized diving so much as synchronized anything. Why not synchronized pole vaulting? Synchronized ping pong would be extremely difficult so why not pole vaulting?

Some of you are thinking, this guy is weird and some of the things he comes up with are just off the wall… Well guess what? It is not an original thought. Look below!
