I will not get into a discussion about why the MacMan was cancelled that’s the past and it is time to move forward. The MacMan could not get beyond 12 to 18 boats out of Mackinac Island. The MacMan required boats to travel to Mackinac and to enter the U.S. The North Channel Race Week (NCRW) does not require a visit to the United States or sailing in the dark. The socializing and sailing will be spread over 5 days with some great venues for overnight visits.
This event will be held the week of July 21 to July 25 and the following legs are scheduled: Leg one Hilton Beach to Thessalon, Thessalon to Vidal Bay, Vidal Bay to Spragge (NCYC), Spragge to Gore Bay and finishing in Little Current Friday July 25th.
