LVXIII Kelly’s Island Fog hold

Saturday October 18th, 2014

Our old friend fog is back. We are 50 feet from the tip of the island and I can’t see it. GPS confirmed by radar say there is something there and coordinates suggest we are still where we anchored. It is discomforting to say the least. Hopefully this will burn off quickly with the sun. All the running lights and anchor lights are on. Nothing is showing on the AIS. The tows almost always beach the tows when the fog comes. Hopefully they don’t decide to beach here at Kelly’s Island

I was distressed to learn that Bermuda was hit again by a storm…this time by Gonzalo. I hope that nobody was hurt or killed. Bermuda is the home of my demon rum.
