Last leg for Fracas this season?

Our priority is to get back to Canada as quickly as possible. Jimmie ‘Arkansas’ picked up our truck out of storage and delivered it to the boat yard.

Today on the tide we will leave Cayo Costa and travel the 25nm over to the lock and the entrance to the canal system at Placida. We will anchor in Interceptor Lake until our scheduled lift on Tuesday. We will offer to get lifted Monday if an opportunity arises but Monday is heavily booked.

We have been on the boat continuously since Tuesday morning when we left Marathon and Marathon Marina. The weather for our travels has been outstanding. When the wind blew it was favourable and we had some of the best sailing for a few years.

Today the wind will be light and will continue to be light and variable for the next few days, until our lift. More later
