If you pronounce Charlevoix correctly the locals know you are Canadian. Our American friends do not pronounce the x but say voy. Similarly, Fracas becomes F rake us (but what about the ‘u’) JEEZUZ.
The weather decision has been made. I will not knowingly go out and be mid passage when a Lake Michigan thunder boomer is possible. The next three days look productive and we can leave earlier and travel longer to make up our time.
